Matthew, a lifelong resident of Collin County, received his undergraduate degree from Austin College in Sherman, Texas and graduated from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
An experienced litigator, Matthew has handled a wide array of cases ranging from commercial litigation, personal injury defense, business disputes, divorces, child custody disputes, probate litigation and collection suits. In trying these cases, his motto has always been “service to the client”. Matthew always makes every effort to resolve all the Firm’s cases as efficiently and favorably as possible. Whether aggressively negotiating a settlement or taking a case through to trial, Matthew always puts the clients’ interests first in every phase of litigation.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Matthew worked in accounting for 12 years, 5 as a controller for a multi-store restaurant group with establishments throughout Texas. This business background gives him a strong understanding of the Firm’s business clients’ perspectives and concerns throughout the litigation process. This background has also equipped him with a unique skill set which is invaluable in aggressively representing the Firm’s clients and advancing their interests.
